Welcome to The Museeum - Potential readers. Those of you who have pieced together that Musee Boutique and The Museeum are part of one entity: me, will not only appreciate the pun, but will also acknowledge this scrapbook as a place of ponder, fashion matching and more ponder. A congregation of ideas, styles and an appreciation of all things interesting. To indulge in such a culture though, puns, anecdotes and the excessive use of punctuation ; : ! ... , ? will be present. This scrapbook will primarily focus, yet not be restricted to, the styling of Musee Boutique Fashion with other online goodies. One will occasionally throw in the interesting photograph, hairstyle and perhaps the little cute vintage store down the road so often neglected.

Cutting the ribbon for our first post will be our V i o l e t t e knit skirt, who has truly captured my heart with her embroidered detail. The beauty of this skirt is that she can be dressed up and down. Both looks captured below use all that is nude, natural and fresh as inspiration.You can never go wrong with clean and simple (Quote good friend MH).

Loving the nude and fresh shades in this look - Enough of a contrast in colour to be noticed and stay subtly beautiful. The long sleeved Donna Mesh creates that hour-glass chic figure one only dreams of, the shopper bag - pure cool dude, and the caramel tassels in the flats gives Violette that finishing vintage touch!

V i o l e t t e  out to dinner, at that party, in that club...

The black and beige contrast in this look is one of my favourites. So simple yet so intricate. The beige suede shoes compliment Violette in a way that no other shoe can. The point creates sophistication and its beige colour extends the legs (a necessity when wearing a high waisted knit skirt). To complete the look the sweetheart top - a combination of sexy and cute and the American Apparel leather clutch - don't be fooled by the image - this clutch is big and mean! A classic combination.
